Hi there, and welcome to Chestnut Hill Baptist Church! My name is Mark Simpson, and with my wife Laura and our son Asher Levi, extend a warm welcome to you and your family. I serve as the youth pastor of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church and our team is excited to have you! The goal of our youth ministry is to grow in Christ, not just inside the walls of the church but also within our communities and homes. In John 15:5 Jesus says, “I am the vine and you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” How incredible is this promise? Abiding in Him, Jesus Christ. And apart from Him, we can do nothing. Our youth ministry is focused on living attached to “the vine,” Jesus Christ, as a we grow in Him and abide in Him, and further the Kingdom one person at a time. Will you come and grow with us? For more information about our youth ministry, please visit chbc.org and we’ll see you soon!

 Sunday Mornings Starting in October

Who is God? Who is Jesus? Who is the Holy Spirit? What is the Bible? What is prayer? What is Grace? How do we share our faith in the communities that we live in? All of us have asked these questions in some way haven’t we? Yet at times, these questions are not that hard to answer. Starting in October, we are launching a new series called “Back to the Basics” and I’m so excited to dive in and answer these questions. So come and join us @ 9:45 A.M. we get into God’s Word.

 Sunday Nights Starting in October

Teenagers want to be courageous and brave. In an era of superhero movies, they strive to be characterized by fearlessness, confidence, and power, like Captain America or Iron Man or whomever they deem “brave” or “bold.” But boldness is empty bravado when not used in the way God intended. In Bold, a 4-part video Bible study series, pastor Joby Martin uses Scripture to teach teenagers that their desires to be bold are not without a purpose. They were created to play a part in God’s redemptive work in the world and live courageously for the cause of God’s Kingdom. God has empowered teens to live a life of boldness—in their faith, with their words, to share the truth, and through prayer. Because our God is so powerful, teenagers who follow Christ can—and must—live boldly in the world.
